About the ingredients and why they work:
Vitamin C ester is an excellent topical antioxidant that not only helps fight free radical skin cell damage caused by environment factors and UV light, but also helps even and brighten the skin tone for a more youthful "dewy" look. MSM is a naturally occurring sulfur compound which helps to lighten brown spots caused by UV exposure, one of the number one "telltale" signs of aging. MSM also helps to keep the cell membranes flexible, which helps skin stay soft and flexible during the day instead of becoming rigid, which makes wrinkles and lines show up more after repeated expressions.
The main oil used in this natural face cream is organic apricot kernel oil. This is the most easily absorbed oil as it contains a small enough molecular structure to penetrate and deeply hydrate the skin without clogging the pores or leaving a heavy, oily residue on the surface of the skin. It also contains nourishing fatty acids that help protect and nourish the skin.
Organic coconut oil adds even more benefit with its rich content of oleic acid and deeply hydrating and protective qualities. Mango powder contains skin softening and smoothing fruit acids and enzymes, and also is known to be excellent at smoothing and softening the skin and evening out skin tone. Panthenol (Pro Viamin B5) provides all day, penetrating moisture and elasticity.
Finishing off this cream is a cocktail of antioxidants including pure vitamin e, olive leaf extract, african red bush extract, ginkgo biloba extract, white tea extract and green tea extract. Pink grapefruit essential oil provides a very light, pleasant scent and adds a little more vitamin C to the formula. This product has a shelf life of approximately 6 months.
